Product Details

A rare Flame Variegated Hoya Kerrii Heart planted in a modern black cube pot. Each heart features unique flame-like patterns with beautiful contrast. Easy to care for, slow-growing, and perfect for desks, shelves, or gifting. A bold, meaningful plant with timeless charm.

Light:
Bright, indirect sunlight is ideal. A sunny windowsill (east or west) keeps the variegation bold. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaf.

Water:
This plant prefers to stay on the drier side. Water only when the soil is completely dry—usually every 2–3 weeks depending on light and temperature.
Tip: When in doubt, wait. Overwatering is the #1 mistake with Hoya hearts.

Temperature:
Thrives in warm indoor temperatures between 65–85°F.
Keep away from cold drafts or vents.

Humidity:
Normal household humidity is perfect. No misting required.

Soil:
A fast-draining succulent or cactus mix helps prevent root rot.

Growth:
Hoya Kerrii hearts are famously slow growers. Some remain a single heart for a long time before putting out new leaves. Their charm is in their steady, low-maintenance nature.

Pet Safety:
Non-toxic to pets, but the thick leaf may be tempting for curious chewers.

Plant Care Tips

Light
Place succulents where they get at least 6 hours of bright, indirect sunlight each day. A sunny windowsill is ideal.

Watering
Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Water deeply, then drain any excess. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems.

Soil
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix. Good drainage keeps roots healthy.

Containers
Choose pots with drainage holes. Avoid decorative pots without drainage unless you use them as covers.

Temperature
Succulents prefer warm conditions. Keep them away from freezing temperatures and protect from drafts.

Fertilizing
Feed lightly with a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). No need to fertilize in winter.

Pruning & Propagation
Remove any dead leaves from the base to prevent pests. Many succulents can be propagated from leaf or stem cuttings.
