Plant Care Tips
Light
Place succulents where they get at least 6 hours of bright, indirect sunlight each day. A sunny windowsill is ideal.
Watering
Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Water deeply, then drain any excess. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems.
Soil
Use a well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix. Good drainage keeps roots healthy.
Containers
Choose pots with drainage holes. Avoid decorative pots without drainage unless you use them as covers.
Temperature
Succulents prefer warm conditions. Keep them away from freezing temperatures and protect from drafts.
Fertilizing
Feed lightly with a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). No need to fertilize in winter.
Pruning & Propagation
Remove any dead leaves from the base to prevent pests. Many succulents can be propagated from leaf or stem cuttings.
